I have noticed that the following ingredients have combined to create enthusiasm for missions in my church.
The Example of the Pastor My family and I took a six-week leave of absence to volunteer among the Eskimos of Western Alaska. This helped our church learn that the Great Commission is doable. If our family (small children and all) could brave the frontier for six weeks, so could theirs.
