It is a good assessment, It calls you to be honest about how true these statements are about you. Everybody knows the right answer, but are you living the right answer. The closer to Christ-like you are the more of a servant attitude you will have.

Agree with the above idea about this assement. This was a wast of my 60 seconds.

As a young pastor I find this assessment very helpful and useful to me in my walk and leading of Christian and non Christians. I am always looking for ways to grow and keep me sharp in my walk and calling. Thank you for this assessment I look forward to taking more to see where I am at and to keep me honest and grounded.

I tend to agree with Rob. This assessment needs more questions to truly evaluate a person's leadership abilities.

I think these questions miss the mark. I have in mind a young man I know who desperately wants to lead, but is young, recently converted, and struggled until very recently with addictions. He doesn't consult with leaders before doing things on his own. He has no spiritual maturity, no work ethic, no education, no job and is arrogant. I believe that one day God will use him mightily, but he needs to earn the respect of others through hard work first. Yet he would have gotten high marks on this assessment, I think.

My assessment of the above comments enticed me to view the INTERACTIVE ASSESSMENT True Traits of Leadership Fred Smith. Thanks, Fred! We found the tool, while limited and brief, very insightful. Certainly seemed to "step on somebody's leadership toes?" (c: Keep up the good work!

yeah--I'm pretty much in agreement with Pastor Adam. Fairly ridiculous assessment.

I don't like to be negative, but this doesn't deserve to be called an assessment tool! Superficial, obvious "right" answers, heavy value assumptions, too few items to explore issues. Shall I go on?

It is simple. It asks (for those willing to be real) some basic, 'hard', "check-up" questions.
Sure, one 'knows' the 'right' answer, yet our faith is about the truth, not what the world wants.
Accountability to Him starts with the ability to see our sins and weaknesses...

I agree with Pastor Adam--this evaluates nothing. Shallow.

Very basic. Good for junior high students, but too elementary for adults, pastors, or other spiritual leaders

What a ridiculous assessment. Everyone knows that the "right" answer is always the first answer. There is no nuance - no control questions or "negatively" phrased questions that might demand real thought or engagement. This does not evaluate anything - it is not designed to "evaluate" but to "teach" these 10 principles. Next time, don't write an poor "assessment" but instead an article.
