_Leadership Without Easy Answers_ by Ron Heifetz (Belknap Press).
The best thing I've read on leadership--defines leadership as "adaptive work" that looks beyond quick-fix, technical solutions and gets folks into the realm of behavior change, value clarification, and shared work. Well worth the read for any church leader, though you'll have to be prepared to take the concepts and make the application to ministry yourself.
