The daily promises book I keep on my desk is 'Leadership Promises for Every Day", by John C. Maxwell. This book has guided me through this ministry because of its' scriptural backing and laymen understanding. The points brought in each daily lesson has increase my understanding about being a 'servant leader'. I have become a little more patience with people and considering their 'voices' when it matters. I see how there are people that support the ministry and my leadership. This book is great to have on your desk, or to carry wherever you go in your daily life.

The book entithled "Winning With People",written by John Maxwell has really played a great part in my life.It has motivated me to become a vessel to be used by God even in my conversations amoung my friends and familes. This book teaches you how to deal with persons who arn't exactly what you will call the peacemakers that GOD wants us to be.In addition people now enjoy spending time with me even more, and I shine for CHRIST! You will love it!

Bill Hybels gave a leadership talk at one of the first Leadership Summit meeting called "Leadership: It's a Life or Death Deal" It is taken from a Tom Clancy book on the life of General Fred Franks during the Dessert Storm War. He toolk the 4 or 5 step philosophy of Gen. Franks and applied it to the way we are to work with our staff and our vulunteer teams. It was so powerful but yet so practical that it just grabbed my attention and it changed the way I worked with my teams and staff from that day unto this.

Simple Church. All of our church leaders, paid staff and lay leaders, are reading it. We will be putting all programs/ministries on the table to discuss, evaluate, change or delete. My church does programs well but they are not connected to a clear process of moving people from non-Christian, to Christian, to disciple and active ministry. Our process will be connected to our purpose/mission statement and the process will be clear and simple. By eliminating programs and some events, people will have time in their week to commit to the simple process and they will make disciples to make disciples to make disciples!

Experiencing The Father's Embrace by Jack Frost. I am an avid reader and on average read five or more books each month. This book has not only changed my ministry, but it also changed my life. Salvation being paramount a revealtion of the Perfect Heavenly Father's Love will restore intimacy, help you recognize your identity, and release you into your destiny. www.nolimitministries.com
