Children can participate in drama ministry as soon as they can read their lines. Starting children this young not only gives them the chance to participate in church from an early age but also opens opportunities for children with gifts in the worship arts to '"fan into flame” those gifts from God (2 Tim. 1:6).
This tool is adapted from '"Drama in Children's Ministry,” '"Developing a Drama Team,” Directing a Drama Sketch,” and '"Drama Workshops for Kids,” PromiseLand Conference workshops by Deanna Armentrout, Kathy Sanford, and Jill Tweeten. PromiseLand is a ministry of the Willow Creek Association.
