Dan Kimball is the author of several books including They Like Jesus but Not the Church and The Emerging Church. He writes and speaks about emerging church and culture issues from a missional and evangelical perspective. He served as a youth pastor and young adult pastor for many years and is currently on staff at Vintage Faith Church in Santa Cruz, California, which was planted in 2004. He is a graduate of Western Seminary, Multnomah Biblical Seminary, and is finishing his doctorate at George Fox Evangelical Seminary where he also serves as adjunct faculty. He is a columnist for Leadership journal and has served on the editorial advisory boards for Outreach Magazine, Youthworker Journal and Rev Magazine. He lives in Santa Cruz, California with his wife and two daughters and drives a rusty 1966 Ford Mustang. His blog is at www.dankimball.com.
