Yes, 'Gauging How You Mentor' is basic, but I do believe that is where we need to begin. Being solid, trustworthy and approachable ... always using the God-breathed Scriptures as our guideline, whilst at the same time trying to humbly discern what God is saying about a particular event in our friend's life as we try to help them.
